"Do not despise the masters, and honor their art!" This is a passage from Hans Sachs's final speech in the opera "Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg". Well, we have had them built in a joint project, the masters of the clock-works-Dresden (UWD), the master of the Sächsischen Uhrentechnologie GmbH Glashütte (SUG), and our own master of Sinn special watches. A clock of 18 kt rose gold with the newly developed Manufaktur handrail caliber UWD 33.1 has emerged - as could be otherwise. We call it 6200 Meisterbund I. The One, because further masterbounds will follow. With regard to our 55 year company anniversary 2016, we have limited this watch to 55 pieces. In fact, the three companies are "masters" of their subject, meeting the highest demands on material, precision and quality. With the professional look for the detail, they have introduced expertise, experience and lived values into the joint project. The SUG is responsible for the design and manufacture of the 18 kt rose gold case. Our company impresses the "face" of the watch, which is based on our classic masterpieces and at the same time defines a shape that is oriented to the functionality. The handmade UWD 33.1 made of nickel silver is equipped with a single-sided spring house, also known as a flying feather house, and has a reserve of 55 hours. The regulation of the gear is made by rotating the eccentric weights in the balance system. This also compensates for the imbalance in the entire oscillating system of the watch. The return system, in turn, provides convenient fine-tuning and waste management. It should also be emphasized that all parts of the factory were subjected to a noble finish. Diamond coatings emphasize the high quality. The elegant case is made of 18 kt rose gold, the dial itself is guilloched and electroplated silver, additionally decorated with set appliques. The impression of a consistently thought-out watch completes the fact that the manufactory works with its diameter of 33 mm extremely harmoniously into the case with its diameter of 40 mm.
The 6200 Meisterbund I is thus the result of traditional watchmaking craftsmanship in form and function, with the best competencies of three renowned companies from the watch industry.
